avian harness

hi my baby gray is 4 months old is he too young to put a harness onto him and is the wether to cold i have got a very good one of e bay and would love to take him out with me for a walk i have been lifting his wings very carefully and i can touch him anywhere his he too young just yet for this he does like to be with me so i wonder if its ok i would take is travel cage incase he panicks thanks joanne.

Hi Joanne

Yes i think four months is a bit young as really he should just be learning to fly on his own at this age and definatley wait until next summer before going outside. It might be best also to take him outside in his travel cage for the first few times to get him used to being outdoors. Hopefully we'll get a good summer next year and you'll have lots of time to be out there having fun.
