Just thought I'd say hi, I have been looking through the forum, as I am thinking of getting a parrot as a pet but have no experience other than an ex girlfreind who had an african grey called Jacko who made quite an impression on me, not sure if my lifestyle is gonna be suitable as im out at work 10 hours a day,
so perhaps not, but It is a really informative site and has given me plenty of food for thought. so thanks

One thing can anyone tell me how to subscribe to the parrot society i dont see a link on the main page ?

Hi and welcome,
If you look on the main page you will see several birds around the middle of it . Just above them is the link.
Don't forget that 'Parrots' come in all shapes and sizes from budgies upwards so there is a great deal out there to look at and contemplate.
