Kakapo

Post by umabatata » Wed Oct 28, 2009 7:17 pm

Hi here
I worked for 2 years with the Kakapo. It is an amazing bird and it was the best job in the world. I am now living for a few years in the UK near Oxford. In order to continue supporting the kakapo recovery programme I have turned one of my photos into a greeting card. These cards are available at and you can some more of my photos at http://purefocus.co.nz. I am donating half the profits from the cards to the Kakapo Recovery Programme.

Hi.

I think the Kakapo is a fantastic parrot.
I am sure the membership of the PSUK would love to hear about your personnal experiences with the bird, and of the recovery programme. So can I ask you to please consider writting an article for the PSUK magazine so we can all be educated from your experince.

Thanks in anticipation.
Kevin.

From all the parrots I love the Kakapo most. It is the most intelligent bird I ever worked with.
