Post by Joannethornton » Mon Jun 23, 2014 6:01 am

Hi,

I have just joined the forum as I have just brought home my first pair of lovebirds.

I have done a lot of research and find some advice conflicting.

I would be happy to hear any tips, advice etc from you

Thanks in advance

hi joanne and welcome, love birds are so sweet aren't they? i have a grey so cant compare etc. but once they have settled in i'd find your self an avian vet and register your birds as the last thing you'd want in an emergency is trying to find a vet x

i have found conflicting advice too, especially with some books. alot of advice i have learned from forums and fb groups. someone will be able to advise more for you x

Hi and welcome,
what type of lovebirds are they ? do you keep them in a cage or in an aviary, l have a pair of black cheeked at the moment but have kept numerous breeds. Glad to see you have bought two as they love company, over here in france they are called " inseperables" self explanatory , do you know how old they are,
