Regarding the next meeting at Hull go to home page click on "about us" then the Area you are interested in. This page has only just been started and will be updated every month when Area Organisors send details to the office.

Having just given up Cockatoos / Parrots after over 50 years. If you are close to people forget them because of noise Leadbetters are in the region of £1500 each the other two about £1000 each. Try and find a breeder and get as much information as you can from them. Hand reared can be a problem when...

Galvanised wire is normally O.K. But if you wish to be sure you can always use Hameright Black paint and a roller and go over the wire once you have built your aviary. Black paint makes it a lot easier to see the birds etc and looks nice. It dries in about an hour.

If Mum suffers from breathing problems I would not recomend an African Grey as they shed a lot of fine dust that will affect her lungs. Obtain a copy of Cage & Aviary Birds from W.H. Smiths get at last four weeks copies as meetings are held about once a month. Surbiton & Tolworth used to have a bird club another that springs to mind is Coulsdon.

Try using Google "Cage Bird Clubs" / !!!!!!!
