The Parrot Society UK

This web site compliments our 48-page, monthly colour magazine, which encourages the keeping, breeding, husbandry, research and conservation of parrot species. Our magazine is the ‘life-blood’ of the Society; we publish articles for both breeders and pet bird owners and includes an extensive advertising section where UK bred birds from our breeder members are to be found. Subscription rates (£18.00 for twelve 2008 magazines in UK) can be found at the Buy/Renew Membership part of our online shop.

The magazine promotes the Society and increases its on going membership. Also it publicises our Conservation Projects and Shows. We encourage the preservation, conservation, keeping and breeding of parrot species some of which are endangered and in need of help. This web site is not only aimed at parrot keepers, but also stimulates interest of the public
